About us

The NHS National Waiting Times Centre emerged after the purchase of a private hospital and hotel complex by the Scottish Executive on 28 June 2002.

The site was immediately known as the National Waiting Times Centre - an NHS Special Health Board. The hospital was subsequently renamed Golden Jubilee National Hospital.

Our unique status means that anyone, living anywhere in Scotland, can be referred by their local NHS Board to us for a range of procedures.
