Getting here
The Golden Jubilee National Hospital is centrally located within easy reach of Glasgow city centre and Glasgow International Airport.
Dalmuir train station is just a 10-minute walk away and numerous buses stop along Dumbarton Road, a five-minute walk from the hospital.
Our in-house Transport team provide a complete service to the hospital seven days a week, transferring patients from wards and clinics to either their home or a pre-arranged drop-off point (normally another hospital).
The hospital has free parking for 482 spaces and there are an additional 300 spaces at the Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre.
By rail, Dalmuir Station.
Take a low level train from either Glasgow Queen Street or Central Station to Dalmuir Station. The Golden Jubilee National Hospital is situated approximately 10 minutes walk from the station. (See route map above). There are frequent trains running into the city centre and to Loch Lomond, both destinations are an approximate 20 minute journey.
Bus routes.
The nearest bus stop is on Dumbarton Road, which is also just a few minutes walk from the hospital. Regular services run towards Glasgow and Dumbarton, Balloch and Helensburgh. From Glasgow city centre you can take the First Glasgow Bus Nos: 66, 204, 205, 215, 216. Please note that the number 62 takes you only as far as Clydebank bus terminal.
Glasgow International Airport.
Situated at Junction 28a, M8 to the west of Glasgow, The Golden Jubilee National Hospital is an approximate 15 minute drive from the airport. Use M8/M898 (see locator map above), then follow route map. Alternatively there are taxis available at the airport.
