What is a news feed?

Put simply, an RSS news feed lets you receive news updates from a website as soon as they appear. By subscribing to this free service, updates will be sent directly to your computer, saving you time and hassle.

How can I use a news feed?

To start receiving news feeds, you will need a news feed reader. This software checks news feeds and will alert you when updates have been added to the websites you have subscribed to. You can download a free reader from a number of websites, including FeedReader(Windows), NewzCrawler(Windows) or Shrook(Mac) can be easily installed.

How do I subscribe?

There are two ways to subscribe:

Drag the web address (URL) into the address bar of your browser into your news feed reader
Cut and paste the URL into a new feed in your news reader.
