The Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre has been an established four-star hotel in Clydebank, near Glasgow, for the past 15 years. It is an integral part of the NHS National Waiting Times Centre and adjoins the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, providing a unique service to the NHS in Scotland.

Providing support for patients and their relatives

The Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre is linked to the hospital by means of a communal corridor.

It supports the Golden Jubilee National Hospital by using its bedrooms for patients and their relatives who need to travel a distance (outside the Glasgow postcode area) to be treated.

Our Booking Office can arrange your accommodation at the time of scheduling your appointment. This is free of charge* if you fall under our set criteria. If you have any questions about your eligibility, please contact our Booking Office for more information.

*If you are eligible for free accommodation, meals at the Beardmore are not included. However, patients, relatives and visitors can use the hospital restaurant as an alternative.

Providing support for staff

Clinical staff also have access to the hotel rooms if they are required to stay in the hospital overnight as part of the on-call or stand-by arrangements.

Public sector conference and training facility

As well as assisting the Golden Jubilee, the Beardmore also delivers excellent hospitality and service to the conference and business communities. In June 2006, the Beardmore was approved as a national NHS and public sector conference facility. Since then they have unveiled a new range of enhanced facilities specifically tailored to the conference and training market.

In both 2005 and 2006, the Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre was named 'Conference Hotel of the Year' by Hotel Review Scotland. In 2007, it received the ‘Business Hotel Special Commendation’ from the same organisation and has also been awarded the Green Tourism Silver award.
