The Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre has been an established four-star hotel in Clydebank, near Glasgow, for the past 15 years. It is an integral part of the NHS National Waiting Times Centre and adjoins the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, providing a unique service to the NHS in Scotland.

Providing support for patients and their relatives

The award-winning hotel supports the hospital by using its bedrooms for patients and their relatives who need to travel a distance to be treated.

The hotel is linked to the hospital by means of a communal corridor or ‘Main Street' as it has come to be known.

Our Booking Office can arrange your accommodation at the time of scheduling your appointment. This is free of charge* if you fall under our set criteria. If you have any questions about your eligibility, please contact our Booking Office for more information.

*If you are eligible for free accommodation, meals at the Beardmore are not included. However, patients, relatives and visitors can use the hospital restaurant as an alternative.

Providing support for staff

Clinical staff also have access to the hotel rooms if they are required to stay in the hospital overnight as part of on-call or stand-by arrangements.

Public sector conference and training facility

As well as assisting the Golden Jubilee, the Beardmore also delivers excellent hospitality and service to the conference and business communities. The Beardmore is the national NHS and public sector conference facility.
The hotel also became the second Scottish venue to join the elite ranks of Conference Centres of Excellence (CCE) during 2008.
