Mr Andrew Kinninmonth FRCS, Clinical Director

Andrew Kinninmonth has been an Orthopaedic Consultant at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital since September 2003.
Prior to that, he had been a Consultant for 14 years at Glasgow Royal Infirmary Trauma and Orthopaedic Unit.
 
Mr Fred Picard MD

Fred Picard has been an Orthopaedic Consultant at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital since July 2005.
Fred previously worked in Orthopaedic units in France and the United States of America and has an interest in Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery.
He has been Secretary of the International Society of Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery since 2005.
 
Mr Martin Sarungi MD

Martin Sarungi joined the Golden Jubilee National Hospital as an Orthopaedic Consultant in July 2005.
Prior to joining the department, Martin spent a number of years training in Budapest and London. He completed his AO/ASIF Fellowship in Trauma Surgery and Orthopaedics in Switzerland. His interests include biomechanical in-vitro analysis of implant migration and wear, outcome assessment analysis, lower limb arthroplasty and computer-assisted total knee arthroplasty.
 
Mr Joseph Baines FRCS (Trauma and Orthopaedic)

Joe Baines joined the Golden Jubilee National Hospital as an Orthopaedic Consultant in 2007. He trained in Newcastle upon Tyne and later completed his fellowship in hip joint replacement and revision surgery in Cardiff.
His special interests are revision of failed hip replacements, hip and knee joint replacement, computer assisted joint surgery and forefoot surgery.
 
Mr Niall Munro FRCS (Trauma and Orthopaedic)

Niall Munro has been an Orthopaedic Consultant at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital since October 2007.
Niall trained in the north of Scotland and was a Locum Consultant in Aberdeen prior to joining us.
He has a special interest in lower limb arthroplasty.
 
Mr Kamal Deep FRCS (Trauma and Orthopaedic)

Kamal Deep is General Secretary of the British Society for Computer Aided Orthopaedic Surgery (CAOS UK) and has given presentations on the subject across the world, including the CAOS International Annual Conference in Germany.
Kamal completed his fellowship in lower limb arthroplasty and computer aided navigation in orthopaedic surgery in Australia.
Amongst his areas of interest are resurfacing hip arthroplasty and arthroscopic surgery of the knee.
 
Mr Alexander Siegmeth FRCS (Trauma and Orthopaedic)

Alexander Siegmeth has worked as an Orthopaedic Consultant at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital since January 2008.
He undertook his orthopaedic training at the East Anglia Trauma and Orthopaedic rotation between 2002 and 2006. He then spent one year as a fellow in hip and knee arthroplasty at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada with Doctors Duncan and Masri . Following this, he worked as the knee fellow in Exeter for six months.
Hip and knee revision surgery, prosthetic infections, periprosthetic fractures and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction are among his special interest areas.
