Change of time for national Board Annual Review
The Minister for Public Health, Michael Matheson MSP, will be chairing the NHS National Waiting Times Centre's (NWTC) Annual Review next week.
The review will take place on Tuesday 8 November in the Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre, Beardmore Street, Clydebank, G81 4SA.
In a change to the times previously published, the public session of the review now takes place from 2pm until 3.30pm.
A national resource
The NWTC is a national resource for NHSScotland that manages three centres of excellence.
The Golden Jubilee National Hospital is home to regional and national heart and lung services, a major centre for orthopaedics; and is the flagship hospital for reducing waiting times in key elective specialties.The Beardmore Centre for Health Science is NHSScotland's new clinical skills and research centre - it provides premier research facilities and is dedicated to the training and development of all healthcare professionals.The Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre is NHSScotland's national conference centre and the venue of choice for NHS and public sector meetings, conferences and events.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the review, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the event.
