Search begins for new public Board members

The Golden Jubilee Foundation and NHS 24 are exciting, innovative and dynamic organisations and today they have launched a nationwide recruitment drive to fill vacant positions on their public boards.

Both organisations are seeking to attract exceptional individuals who believe they have the professional experience, skills, drive and determination to support and navigate our non-executive boards on the next phase of their exciting journeys.

Golden Jubilee Foundation Chair Susan Douglas-Scott said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who is passionate about healthcare to be involved in the highest level of our decision making process as we embark on our £70m expansion programme as part of the Scottish Government Elective Centres Project.

“Our Board is made up of a diverse range of individuals from a variety of backgrounds across private and public sectors; a skill mix which drives us to deliver the highest possible standards of care in Scotland.

“We encourage applications from enthusiastic people with strong communication and collaborative skills who have the passion and vision to lead on quality, research and innovation for NHS Scotland.”

NHS 24 Chair Esther Robertson said, “Serving on an NHS board is very rewarding and we are hoping to attract interest from communities across Scotland. We want our boards to reflect the Scotland we serve so anyone with a genuine interest in public services is encouraged to apply.”
