NHS Golden Jubilee has welcomed its newest Non-Executive Board member.

 

The two-year appointment of Elaine Cameron was announced by the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport, Jeane Freeman and will run from 6 April 2020 to 5 April 2022.

 

Elaine has held strategic leadership roles in the third sector for over a decade and has significant experience of good governance, human resources and strategic planning.

 

A Business Management Consultant specialising in providing business development and financial sustainability advice to the third sector, she has also previously worked within the financial sector of private business.

 

She is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development.

 

Elaine commented: “I am delighted to be joining NHS Golden Jubilee, an organisation that is at the forefront of innovation with a strong commitment to delivering truly person centred care services. I look forward to working alongside colleagues to take the organisation to the next stage of its expansion and development. 

 

“I am motivated by my public values and work to ensure that I bring these values and ethics to life in all that I do.

 

“This is an extremely challenging time for NHS colleagues who are working tirelessly to provide vital services and I am honoured to have the opportunity to contribute.”
