Staff Networks

All networks.jpgBe a part of the movement

We have a growing number of staff networks and forums led by staff, for staff.

We currently have 7 staff diversity Networks, with plans to establish more issue-based forums throughout 2023 and beyond.

Each network Chair is a member of our Diversity and Inclusion Group, giving staff an extra way to have their voice heard and share their lived experience.

All Networks have initially been set up and are supported by the Diversity and Inclusion Team, but it is not our Network: it’s yours.

We hope that the Networks will be led by staff, for staff. We are always looking for ways members can run the Network and make something meaningful out of it.

Each Network is a part of organisational structure, with a seat at the table at the board’s Diversity and Inclusion group. This means that your views are heard, and your subject-matter expertise is recognised.

Networks are open to all staff, volunteers and allies based within the hospital community.

Facts about Network membership

Diversity network members are entitled to protected time of up to 1 hour per month to attend meetings and participate in network activities.

All networks are hosted on Microsoft Teams, where members can have conversations on Channels, share files and resources and host meetings online. The Diversity and Inclusion Team are on hand to help, and to take forward any issues raised by the Networks.

All groups are private and though there is some degree of visibility when you join (other members can see who you are), we request that members maintain strict confidentiality about membership and contents.
