David McClelland

David is an internationally experienced business leader with specific expertise in the areas of operational leadership, performance improvement, business transformation and workplace culture development. He has spent the last 20 years working in the Life Science sector, where he has supported companies in the development, manufacture and delivery of numerous cutting-edge therapeutics. In recent years, his executive roles have focused on company development and strategic planning. David is currently the Interim Chief Operating Officer at Symbiosis Pharmaceutical Services; a leading Contract Manufacturing Organisation based in Stirling. He is passionate about using the skills developed in the private sector in diverse settings and, in recent years, has served on the Board of two children’s healthcare charities: Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and Hi Scotland. He has also served on the Council of Directors at Glasgow Chamber of Commerce.
