Red4Research Day 2025 - Women's Heart Health

Red4Research Day brings together all those participating, supporting and undertaking research. On the front line and behind the scenes incredible research teams collectively work on health and social care research.
The R and D community is innovative, flexible and dynamic. Research doesn’t just happen though, people make it happen – research participants, patients, professionals, volunteers and regulatory bodies all collectively working together.
On Friday 20 June, the team from our Research Institute, in partnership with the NHS Golden Jubilee Women’s Network and supported by the NHS Research Scotland (NRS) Cardiovascular Research Network, is focusing on Women’s Heart Health for Red for Research Day.
On the day, female colleagues can drop in to have:
-
Blood pressure and BMI checked by registered research nurses
-
Grip scores by the registered research physiotherapist
-
Heart Health information from the British Heart Foundation
-
Refreshments and giveaways
-
A quiz with prizes linked to women’s health and wellbeing
Clydebank's iconic Titan Crane will be lit up red to mark the day, while our Surgical Centre will also be lit up red throughout the week commencing 16 June.
