The incredible achievements and dedication of NHS Golden Jubilee staff and volunteers were celebrated at this year’s Our People Awards, held at the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel on Thursday 20 November 2025.

Hosted by the amazing Michelle McManus, the evening shone a spotlight on the compassion, teamwork, and innovation that make NHS Golden Jubilee such a special place to work and receive care.

The annual awards celebrate staff from across the organisation who go above and beyond for patients and colleagues every single day. This year’s ceremony saw more than 240 submitted across 13 categories, recognising individuals and teams who demonstrate our values of kindness, collaboration and excellence.

Adding to the excitement on the night, staff were surprised with a series of celebrity video messages from famous faces across, including actors Mark Bonnar, recently starring in the BBC Traitors, Scottish actress Karen Dunbar, footballer Stephen O’Donnell, and professional golfer Stephen Gallagher - each sending their congratulations and thanks to NHS Golden Jubilee colleagues for the difference they make across the country.

These were just some of the well-known faces who shared messages on the night, with several other celebrities also sending in their support.

This year’s winners reflect the remarkable work happening every day across NHS Golden Jubilee. Whether enhancing patient care, leading national improvement programmes, supporting families through difficult journeys, driving sustainability, or creating a culture of kindness and inclusion, each winner has made a valuable contribution to our staff, patients and communities. Their achievements showcase the compassion, professionalism and collaborative spirit that define Team Jubilee.

Chief Executive Carolynne O’Connor said: “The Our People Awards are one of the highlights of our year, celebrating the commitment and compassion that makes NHS Golden Jubilee such a remarkable organisation.

“Every one of our finalists and winners represents the very best of the NHS - delivering exceptional care and innovation, supporting colleagues, and living our values every day.

“It was fantastic to come together to recognise the contribution of all our teams and individuals. Congratulations to all our finalists and winners.”
