NHS Golden Jubilee named highest-rated NHS hospital in UK Google review rankings
NHS Golden Jubilee, Scotland's only heart transplant centre and a national leader in planned care, has been ranked as the highest-rated NHS hospital in the UK based on Google reviews.
The ranking, compiled by Parents Resource using Google review data from NHS hospitals across the UK, placed Golden Jubilee University National Hospital at the top of the list with an average rating of 4.71 out of 5 from 575 reviews. The analysis reviewed 151 NHS hospitals nationwide.
The recognition reflects the experiences shared by patients who have visited NHS Golden Jubilee for specialist and planned care services, including orthopaedics, ophthalmology, diagnostics, heart and lung services, and general surgery.
As Scotland's flagship hospital for reducing waiting times in key elective specialties, NHS Golden Jubilee treats thousands of patients every year and consistently receives positive feedback about the quality of care, compassion and professionalism shown by staff. The organisation is home to the UKs largest elective orthopaedic and cataract centres and is Scotland's only heart transplant centre, providing life-saving specialist care for patients from across the country.
The accolade recognises not only the care delivered within the hospital, but the wider contribution NHS Golden Jubilee makes to healthcare across Scotland.
