NHS Golden Jubilee commemorates Her Majesty The Queen

We are deeply saddened at the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The Golden Jubilee University National Hospital opened in 2002 and named for Her Majesty’s Golden Jubilee year, before Her Majesty and His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh visited our site to open our Heart and Lung Centre in 2008 – a very special occasion for many of us. In June this year, we celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, marking her seven decades on the throne.

On behalf of NHS Golden Jubilee, we offer our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Royal family at this time and thank Her Majesty for her dedication to serving the public of the UK and the Commonwealth.

Out of respect for Her Majesty and her dedication to serving the UK and Commonwealth, during the period of mourning, we will be limiting the content posted on our social and digital media channels only to information which is vital for patient safety and service delivery.

Thank you for your understanding and respect during this time.
